The competitors represented their nation instead of themselves or teams. As such, the A1 series was also known as the &#8220;World Cup of Motorsport&#8221;. There were talks of a revival of the concept under a different banner but so far it hasn&#8217;t materialized.<\/p>\n<p>A1 Team Malaysia was the title sponsor of my PhotoBlog during that time.
