During the turn of the century, a new phenomenon started taking shape in Malaysia. Dot com companies began advertising on the back of taxis. It was a sure sign that the companies were gunning for an IPO. Eight years on, the Ah Longs displaced the dot coms as the big spender on boot media.<\/p>\n
