An abandoned doll lying dejected in an abandoned house. This was a picture I took of a deserted squatter colony awaiting demolition to make way for a mall.<\/p>\n<p>I was stunned by the posture and the position of the limbs. It was like a helpless human lying in bed, hoping that it was all a bad dream. Sometimes, urbex subjects encountered are perplexing. Was the doll left behind in a hurry? Was it a heartbreaking separation for some kid?<\/p>\n<p>We may never know but I like it when inanimate objects convey mystery and stir emotions.
