Not sure if they still do. I used to come here as a kid while playing truant from school. The challenge among us was to cycle on top of the pipe. What crazy things we do when we were kids. I feel dizzy just standing on top of it now.<\/p>\n<p>The river is now shallower due to silting and the rocks and boulders are all gone. There were no human settlements nearby then. I remember eagles soaring above the quartz ridge.
