Bittersweet. A homeless puppy saying goodbye to the place and people it grew up with. Afraid that it will be run down by the many trucks swinging in daily, I took it to a shelter. Another puppy from the same litter was already flattened
When I first inquired about this young stray (upon seeing it playing behind a petrol station in Sekinchan), I was told it was fed by a kindly Malay farmer who couldn’t take him home. Luckily, I left my number with the attendants. After discussing with the farmer and gas station owner, they called me a week later to go get it. Quite touching to see the Bangladeshi workers saying goodbye, as they have kinda grown attached to the dog.
