Pearly Towers

The Petronas Twin Towers glisten in the sunset just now. I changed the camera’s white balance to the tungsten preset for a cool, bluish moonlight hue. To better expose the pearl-like highlights, I used spot-metering on the shiny parts.

What A Caper!

I am not photographing an illusion created by shooting through glass. There is no glass, only a frame. Neither is this a distorted reflection off a skyscraper window. It is the actual shape of the buildings. Notice how the other buildings are not bent? I like the design of the The Capers in Sentul East. It dares to be bold and different. KL’s skyline needs more funky architecture.

Friday Madness

Since I was the passenger, I screwed on a Neutral Density filter and set the camera to 6 seconds-long exposure. The hand movement and car bounce resulted in this special picture of the Friday evening mess on the road.

Olympus OM-D, ISO 200, f4, 6 seconds (with NDX400).
