The National Monument in Kuala Lumpur was designed by Austrian sculptor Felix de Weldon and unveiled in 1966 to honour fallen soldiers. Reportedly, the world’s tallest bronze free-standing sculpture grouping, it is part of a warrior memorial park that includes a cenotaph. In this less photographed view reflected off the surrounding moat, five of the heroes can be seen.
