Did I hear you say our taxis are too small and stuffy? Maybe you like to try one of Cambodia’s innovative public transport options. Only problem is when a passenger decides to haggle, he will hold up 15 other passengers (not counting the 3 babies on-board). I opted for more upmarket transport. I squatted on the narrow roof rack of a mini bus with 10 others. A bit more cooler and great for street photography. That was how I captured this scene from bustling Phnom Penh.

Sunset Through A Porthole
Why are the windows on a ship or portholes round? I was told they are better at preserving hull strength than square or rectangular windows. Also circular windows are easier to seal than those having sharp corners.
One rarely see a nice sunset over the Straits of Malacca these days. This surprisingly lovely sunset was photographed from Cenang Beach when I was in Langkawi for LIMA. Since it was a bit hazy, I decided to use use Snapseed’s Grunge Filter to create the scratchy, dirty look of peering through a porthole 🙂
Basil
Basil Chicken Fried Rice at EcoGreen Restaurant in TTDI. Organic brown rice & organic chicken fried with fragrant basil leaves and a free-range egg. Just pure aroma and natural taste. No MSG or other artificial flavourings were used in the making. Top it off with a cold lemon grass drink and you are in organic heaven. Photographed with the Olympus OM-D.
