Who says you need to go to the beach for great sunsets? You can see one from the heart of Kuala Lumpur city too, if you are lucky. I was stuck in a jam on Jalan Tun Razak when this beautiful sunset unfolded. Good thing I was crawling on the elevated section so I just shoot through the side window.

Seeing Stars
Bir Bintang served by the jugs at this riotous Country and Western pub in the heart of Jakarta. The Indonesian national beer started life as the Dutch Heineken beer in 1929. It was ‘nationalised’ from 1957 to 1967.
When you can’t hold the camera steady, use any solid surface as a ‘tripod’ to lessen the possibility of snapping a ‘shaky’ pic. This can be caused by a slow shutter speed due to the dim lighting. In this case, I used the top of a pilsner glass as a ‘tripod’ for this 1/8th of a second exposure. Firing a flash is easy but you lose the ambience.
A Small Forgotten Chapel
Found this mysterious, creepy, abandoned chapel while exploring the deserted Cheras cemetery with Maloti. She wasn’t aware I was photographing her as she examined the graffiti up-close. The vandalised pyre with daylight streaming through missing window panes and roof tiles gave it that ‘Korean horror movie look’, unintentionally.
