There was rain almost every night throughout the elections campaigning period. At the outdoor ceramah and rallies, umbrellas are a common sight. At this morning’s opposition rally in Ampang, colourful umbrellas sprouted too but this time to shield the sun. I love this pic because everyone looks so fired-up and happy.

Deep in the misty, mossy, mysterious forest is a man asking for votes. This is actually an oil palm plantation in Kampung Holmwood. The 13th General Elections of Malaysia falls on 5th May 2013. With flags and posters at every corner, it is kind of tough doing landscape photography. Nevertheless, get out your cameras out. Participate or document.

Saw this pair of newly-weds outside an Indian bridal shop in Bestari Jaya (formerly Batang Berjuntai). The mannequins reminded me of the movie Bride of Frankenstein, creepy yet captivating in its mystery. I applied Snapseed’s vintage filter to match the charming little town’s 1960s-ish atmosphere.
