Eigo Sato The Legend

I like images like this that mess with the brain’s perception of the horizon and reality. If you look at this with your phone turned 90 degree clockwise, it still kinda make sense.

Don’t try this stunt at home or anywhere else. This was world freestyle champion Eigo Sato and partner doing a 180-degree airbourne somersault. I was a former motocross racer and that made it a little easier anticipating their moves through the camera. This was only a mild stunt in Eigo Sato’s books. For a couple of his extreme aerial stunts, scroll down my timeline to around 47 to 48 weeks ago.

Eigo Sato died doing what he loved best. He succumbed to injuries while training for the 2013 Red Bull X-Fighters tour near his home in Iwaki City, Japan in February 2013.
