Flashback: The pit crew in action during the now defunct A1 Grand Prix (A1GP). The competitors represented their nation instead of themselves or teams. As such, the A1 series was also known as the “World Cup of Motorsport”. There were talks of a revival of the concept under a different banner but so far it hasn’t materialized.

A1 Team Malaysia was the title sponsor of my PhotoBlog during that time. I often  photographed them from the pit lane and garage when they were racing in the home circuit.

A mighty F1 car roared through the tiled-surface of Putrajaya Boulevard yesterday. AirAsia was presenting a live demo of Team Lotus in conjunction with the Malaysian Grand Prix next week.
