Liquid Man Of Steel

The goalkeeper is already on his knees. Stretching his long arm and tattooed wrist, he punches the ball over the crossbar. A dramatic save from the man of steel. The Liquid Man of Steel.

Like everyone else I like the sunny days but I don’t despair when it rains. Rainy days present interesting and challenging opportunities for the lens. Like struggling with an umbrella with one hand and camera with the other.

This picture is actually raindrops rolling off the edge of my umbrella as I walked in the rain. I rotated the image vertically. Turn your phone or tablet upside down to view and you will get the picture.

Happy Brolly Rally

There was rain almost every night throughout the elections campaigning period. At the outdoor ceramah and rallies, umbrellas are a common sight. At this morning’s opposition rally in Ampang, colourful umbrellas sprouted too but this time to shield the sun. I love this pic because everyone looks so fired-up and happy.

The Milky River

While it was blue skies in the morning, the afternoon saw torrential rain in Hulu Langat. The area known for its rivers and waterfalls is a favourite haunt for picnickers.

Rain means the Pangsun River is fast flowing but there is one way to slow it down for the camera. An ND (neutral density) filter coupled with a very long exposure. The result is a creamy and silky river.
