A Ghost Town

An electricity cabinet with stolen cover becomes framed art for the camera. The bizarre ghost town of Armada Putra is a fascinating but risky place to explore. Behind the dilapidated buildings stripped bare by scrap metal thieves, mysterious denizens and a pack of feral dogs lurk. I am attracted to its tragic silence and seeming emptiness.

Yawn

For a guy, what can be more boring than accompanying a woman to shopping? Waiting for her to check all the pics in her camera. LOL! A photographic moment can be both emphatic and empathetic. Street candids of random strangers with the Body Cap Lens.

This scene kind of reminds me of 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The Body Cap Lens and OM-D combo reminds me of the Kodak Instamatic camera I had as a kid. No exposure or focus settings to worry about. Just concentrate on composition.

The Body Cap Lens’ 15mm (30mm in old money) viewpoint suits urban landscape and street photography quite well. With a wrist strap on the OM-D and the lens set to its hyperfocal distance of between 5 feet and infinity, I roamed Jalan Bukit Bintang like a happy tourist.
