Vietnam Kitchen

I was seated at a very dark corner inside Vietnam Kitchen in Jaya 33 Mall. Had only the Pana-Leica 25mm f1.4 lens but didn’t bring the clip-on flash nor the handy Manfrotto ML 240 LED light. The Samsung Galaxy S3′s flash light came to the rescue. With the right amount of light, spring rolls spring to life :-)

Like the Masala Tosai featured here earlier, Gỏi Cuốn or Vietnamese Spring Roll is listed as one of World’s 50 most delicious foods complied by CNN Go. It is actually salad roll with prawn, vegetables, vermicelli (bihun) wrapped in rice paper. While there is no pork in this particular dish, the restaurant is non-halal.
