Since its founding in 1940, Chong Kok’s simple and popular signature food has always been their steamed (or toasted) Hainanese bread with kaya and butter. Many also order the famous house coffee and soft-boiled eggs. They have recent additions such as cheesecakes, packet nasi lemak and cucuk udang.
If you want to try some at home, you can purchase the kaya (coconut egg jam) in cups and the coffee powder in sachets. Chong Kok Kopitiam is located in Little India Klang, in front of the Railway Station, at 5 Jalan Stesen Klang. See previous pic.
