Guardians Of The Ghost Town

After following me around suspiciously the whole afternoon, they finally accepted that I came in peace. They led me to a giant dog house. Scrap metal thieves have stolen every roller shutter door of the shops, warehouses and factories in Armada Putra. The dogs, I suspect, are abandoned strays turned feral.

Hanging Around

Where do some Malaysian footballers retire to? They hang their boots high up in the middle of Armada Putra. The problem with hanging around ghost towns is that there is not a single a human around to ask about its history. What I had for company was pack of feral dogs gnashing and growling at me. I didn’t hang around for long.

Hantu Tetek

Graffiti inside an abandoned building pays tribute to the Hantu Tetek. In Malay folklore, the mammary ghost is female and uses her humongous breasts to suffocate victims. In this depiction, she probably had her silicone implants removed 🙂

Although the ghost town of Armada Putra is eerily deserted in the day, paraphernalia and traces on the floor suggest some form of human activities at night.
