Spotted #1: The Hokkien Gym & More

The Hokkien gym, poodles get the best seat, a husband’s desire and more. ‘Spotted’ is the new photo series featuring random stuff that requires a second take…

Mee & The Girls

The Hokkien Gym

Three girls spotted waiting for their take away-orders at the popular ‘Tawakal Hokkien Mee’ stall. Why not work out while the noodles are being cooked? To replenish burned calories and fat instantly, nothing beats the super oily, lard-laden dish 🙂

Poodles Get The Best Seat

Poodles Get The Best Seat

With a bat in hand, two mongrels on a leash and a poodle in a pouch, this man in OUG goes for an evening stroll.

Do You Desire English Lessons?

Do You Desire English Lessons?

This billboard on the highway sounds (looks) like broken English, at first glance. Maybe not. With a  second look, it seems to be asking; Is your husband desiring you only as a baby-making machine? 🙂

Pure Klang

Pure Klang

Do you sometimes wonder whether the Bak Kut Teh you ate was pure? Maybe it was  contaminated with 8% Ipoh Road or diluted with 36% Pudu? No more such doubts. 100% Klang just moved out of Klang 🙂

It’s A Chinese Thing

Have you noticed the recent Chinese fascination with stainless steel? The shiny metal adorns the front entrance of so many Chinese homes these days.

Shiny Thing

Shiny Thing

Being practical folks, they are probably attracted to the maintenance-free and longer lasting properties of stainless steel. It is ideal under our weather, especially when used for gates and grills.

So what can you give a Chinese homeowner who has every chrome railing and bannister?  No. Not blue roof tiles. That is passe. Get him a set of matching, shiny stainless steel water tanks lah. It must be externally mounted though. 🙂

More Shiny Things

Spotted: 3-in-1 roof top symbols and obsession. Stainless steel tank with stainless steel fence 🙂
