Update 1: It is almost 9:00 pm now but still no lantern action except boring speeches and the same multi-cultural dances over and over again. Can’t they be more creative for once? To make matters worse, some idiot is shouting “1Malaysia Boleh” on stage now. Lol

Update 2: 9:30pm. A crow on the tree above me just poo poo. Missed my phone by a few inches. Wait… Got fireworks all of a sudden…

Update 3: Almost 10:00 pm and the lantern parade to Petaling Street begins. Very few lantern bearers. I think many kids fell asleep waiting. I’m out of here. That was me reporting from Central Market
