Fusion sea food fried rice from William’s Corner. The food is yummy but their greyish plastic table tops and fluorescent lighting aren’t exactly ideal for photography. So set your white balance to daylight or until the table turns a nice blue. I used the LED flash light from two Samsung Galaxy S3 phones to light this shot taken with the OM-D.
I embarked on a personal, bank-breaking campaign to catch-spay-release the stray cats in my neighbourhood some time ago. This is one of several stray cats who made my home her home instead of moving on, after the trip to the vet. I call her Tortoise after her tortoise-shell coloured coat.
Bittersweet. A homeless puppy saying goodbye to the place and people it grew up with. Afraid that it will be run down by the many trucks swinging in daily, I took it to a shelter. Another puppy from the same litter was already flattened 🙁
When I first inquired about this young stray (upon seeing it playing behind a petrol station in Sekinchan), I was told it was fed by a kindly Malay farmer who couldn’t take him home. Luckily, I left my number with the attendants. After discussing with the farmer and gas station owner, they called me a week later to go get it. Quite touching to see the Bangladeshi workers saying goodbye, as they have kinda grown attached to the dog.
